Utah Representative Lowry Snow
The UZONA Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that Utah Representative Lowry Snow will be our Opening Keynote Speaker at the 1st Annual UZONA Chamber Business Expo & Career Fair by CIG. We appreciate his dedication and drive to do all he can to promote rural education and economic development adding to the success of those who live, play, work, and do business in the communities we serve.
Lowry obtained his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and law degree from Gonzaga University. He is the founding partner of the law firm Snow Jensen & Reece with offices in St. George, Cedar City and Kanab. He is a former President of the Utah State Bar. In 2012 he was appointed by Governor Herbert to fill a vacancy in the Utah House of Representatives where he currently serves representing House District 74 in Washington County. He is a co-chair of the Point of the Mountain Land Authority charged with overseeing the planning and development of the Draper Prison 700-acre site known as The Point.
His local service includes board member of the St. George Area Economic Development Board—where he has served for over 20 years. He has been actively involved with economic development in Utah having served as Chair of the Washington County Economic Development Council and as a board member of both the Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED) and the Economic Development Corporation of Utah (EDCU).
